Welcome to my website! I am a researcher at the research department of the Inter-American Development Bank in DC. I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics from UC San Diego in 2018. My research studies how frictions in financial and labor markets interact with economic networks and institutions in developing countries. In particular, I study how these interactions affect the efficiency of anti-poverty programs, offset market failures, and lead to unintended effects of policy efforts to alleviate poverty.
